Choeng Mon

Toursists sometimes call this area a "family beach". Honestly this is a great place for the family holiday nearcby the beach. It's tranquil, clean district with nice beach and water. Choeng Mon can be overcrowded during the high season, however during the low season it becomes very quiet.

Choeng Mon is the clean beach with bright white sand and clear sea water, attracting those who enjoy snorkeling. Overall this beach perfectly suits for the beach leisure and photo sessions.

There are few cafes and shops on the beach, however, if you are looking for some serious shopping, get ready to visit other districts.



6. Transportation.

Local public transport can be a rare guest in this district, so it's better to get your own rented wheels if you are going to stay in Choeng Mon.

8. Popular sightseeing.

Crocodile farm, Samui park, Big Buddha statue and seafood market deserve to be visited. Active tourists can visit the diving school and golf course.

9. Nightlife.

Nightlife is absent here, however, you can visit the neighboring Chaweng beach for some nightlife entertainment.
