Najomtien, Bang Saray beach

Najomtien is not the most popular area for tourists. The main reason is the distance to the downtown. However for some people it might be the positive aspect. This is the great area if you are looking for the tranquil place to stay, and unacceptable if you are an active tourist. What are Najomtien main advantages: clean and not overcrowded beach, no loud noise, developed hotel infrastructure. Main disadvantages are the absence of well-developed transportation system, lack of entertainment. If you are going to stay here for a while it will be necessary to rent your own vehicle. Otherwise, it will be quite problematic to get back, especially in the evening and during the night time.



1. Distance to the airport.

Najomtien is located within 130-145 km from the Suvarnabhumi airport. Utapao airport is located within just 40 km. The most reliable way to get to the airport in time is to book a taxi in advance. 

2. Distance to the sea.

Almost all popular hotels and condos are located on the beachfront, so you are going to be just a few steps away from the sea. The distance to the downtown is about 15 km, which makes it complicated to visit the main part of the town if you don't have your own vehicle. 

3. Beach length.

Local beach length is 10 km, filled with a lot of palm trees, where you can find saving shade. 



4. Beach and water condition.

Bang Saray is believed to be one of the cleanest in Pattaya, however, if you are looking for the pure bounty beach, it's worth to visit nearby islands. The local beach is very quiet and popular among family tourists and visitors. Those who are looking for some entertainment will feel boring here. There are not too many beachfront restaurants in this area, however lot of food carts. 

5. Infrastructure.

Probably this area would fit only unpretentious tourists. There are some tourist facilities, mainly located along the Sukhumvit road. Normally hotels have their own infrastructure for their guests and tourists. Therefore, if you are a fan of shopping, Najomtien might be not the best option for you.

6. Transportation.

Najomtien is the district with quite problematic transportation. The public transport system is poorly developed here. Without your own vehicle, it will be troublesome to plan any trips out of Najomtien and back.

7.  Views.

Most of the hotels can provide you great sea views and view on the local tropical lush. 

8. Popular sightseeing.

Since Najomtien is not the most popular tourist district there are not too many sightseeing in this area. Among few, we can name Ocean Marina yacht club, Alangkarn show, water parks, floating market.

9. Nightlife.

There is no nightlife in Najomtien. That's exactly why this district is popular among family tourists with small children.

10. Popular hotels.

There are two main hotels in this area: Ambassador and Sea Sun Sand Resort & Spa boutique hotel.
