Alcohol

There is almost any alcohol in Pattaya. From beer to vodka and whiskey. You might not find your favorite brand, but there is certainly a decent or export analogue in the shops.
Despite of vigorous searches absinthe and Becherovka were not found.

What can we recommend:

Try not to drink at the day time. It’s really hot here, therefore rapid inebriation is scathing and merciless. Especially in the first few days when you exhausted of long flight. 
Try the local beer. There are three main brands:

Singh

Chang

Leo

Try variations of classic, draft, light etc. I’m pretty sure you would choose something matching you the best. Note that beer bottles in Thailand are 0.6 liters volume.

Among all export alcohol stronger then beer the best one you may find is “100 pipers” whiskey. How did it deserve so wide popularity? First of all “100 pipers” is production of “Chivas Brazers”, therefore it inherits all benefit’s of worldwide known brand. Second – it tastes pretty good and not quite expensive.

You can also try to experience local spirits – Hong-Thong and Blend 285 whiskey, Sang-Som rum.
