New Nordic hotel investment project announced new conditions for all new contracts signed after March 1, 2020.
The overall idea of cooperation has remained the same.
You buy a room/apartment in the hotel complex and hand it over to the hotel management.
Only two things affected by the changes are the rental guarantee rate and its term:
1. Terms and conditions.
Now only 2 terms are possible for which contracts are concluded - 5 and 10 years. But each contract implies extension for another 5 years by the investor's decision. Thus, the period of rental guarantee income varies from 5 to 15 years.

The difference in interest paid is due to different tax rates for foreigners in the above countries. This varies from 14/15% in Cambodia and Thailand to 25% in the Philippines.
3. The term of the contract is now counted from the moment of full payment for the apartment and is not tied to the term of completion of construction.
4. Form of ownership of apartments now ONLY Leasehold.
5. At the end of the contract period, if the investor wishes, the apartment can be bought back at the purchase price (100% return of the investment amount).
