Traffic signs like “stop is forbidden” and “no parking” aren’t put all over the city. The easiest way is to orient on curb markings: red with stripes – stop and parking prohibited, yellow with stripes – only for passengers disembarking, blue with stripes – only for the disabled.
Try not to park your vehicle right on the main roads: Beach rd, second rd, third rd, south rd, central rd, north rd. Too many places where parking actually prohibited but no warning signs around. Normally police put block on wheels. 900 baht is a fine, plus 200-300 baht direct to the officer, in case you don’t want go to police station by yourself. In case you don’t find policemen near you should go to police station by yourself.
Best way to avoid that is to park your vehicle inside big shopping malls, inside small sois (streets) etc.
