Traffic in Thailand

Traffic in Pattaya is totally different from Bangkok, where drivers must obey the rules because of tough traffic police control and punishment.

In Pattaya there are almost no rules. People can turn around crossing 3 lanes and double-solid. Conclusion: 30-40 km/h is the optimal speed for the foreigner in Pattaya and other inhabited areas.

Be careful with the dogs. Some of them enjoy running by the road, some of them sleep directly amidst the road.
