Work permit

Thai document (blue color booklet), which entitles you to work in Thailand. Please remember, that work permit is not related to any visa issues. 

It means that work permit doesn’t entitle you with permanent residence. But it’s possible to receive an annual business visa, which would be issued on work permit, and live in Thailand 365 years without any visa-runs.

Normally work permits are issued by the employer. Average price is 25,000-35,000 baht.
