Land in Thailand cannot be purchased on the foreign name. Only way to own land here is to register it on Thai company. Depending from the location land can be pretty expensive.
1 rai (which is 16 acres) can cost 1 mln. USD in such exclusive places like Pratumnak. Although, there is no way to buy private piece of coastal zone.
25 meters of it belongs to the king. Leasehold is possible for 90 years (3*30 years).
