Pratumnak Hill area: Dong Tang and Pratumnak beach, the cliff gulf

Pratumnak Hill area and the local beach are believed to be the most "green" district in Pattaya, which makes it very popular among the family type tourist. 

There is few 5 stars beachfront hotel in this district, with Royal Cliff and Sheraton among them. The only Pattaya water and amusement park are also located here on Pratumnak on the Pattaya Park hotel area.

In the middle of the Pratumnak area, there is a hill separating the downtown and Jomtien district. Pratumnak is very quiet and tranquil district, without public transport, surfing the small streets. Therefore, you will need to use taxi services quite a lot to visit the rest of the city.

1. Distance to the airport. Hotels are located within 133-140 km from the Suvarnabhumi airport. The road takes about 2 hours.
2. Distance to the sea. The access to the beach may differ depending on location. Royal Cliff and Sheraton hotels area are located on a stony plateau with a steep bank of 20-30 m in height, some buildings and villas are terraced on its wide slope. Cosy Beach area visitors and residents have access to the beach down the stairs. However, the guests of Pattaya Park and Adriatic Palace hotels are just a few steps away from the beach, crossing a quiet street with shady trees.
3. Length of the beach. Dong Tang beach — 1,4 km; Pratumnak beach (Cosy Beach, Mountain Beach hotels) — 340 m; Pratumnak beach (Asia Pattaya hotel) — 300 m; Cliff gulf - 550 m.
4. Beach and water condition. Hotels such as Royal Cliff and Sheraton have their own beach with easy access and free parasols and sun chairs. Pattaya Park, Adriatic Place, and Cosy Beach hotels have access to the public beaches. 
5. District infrastructure. Cosy Beach, Mountain Beach, Pattaya Park, Adriatic Palace guests, and tourists can enjoy restaurants, massage parlors, fruit shops and small souvenir shops located around the hotels' area, from early afternoon until the late evening. However Royal Cliff and Sheraton hotels are located bit away from the main tourist resident area, therefore all the services are provided directly on the hotels' area.  до поздней ночи работают рестораны, массажные салоны, фруктовые лавки и небольшие сувенирные магазины.    • 6 km to Pattaya Memorial Hospital, 15 minutes drive by taxi.
7. Views. Since Pratumnak area is mainly located on the hill, separating downtown and Jomtien, you can enjoy great sea and city views.
8. Popular sightseeings. Here you can find two viewpoints with great city view on Pattaya Bay, Buddha Hill, fitness park.
9. Night life. You can find few bars located on soi 4 and 5.
