Bophut is a great looking and at the same time not the cheapest place. However, the service level matches accordingly. Bophut is famous for its luxurious hotels, occupying the major part of the beach. Originally Bophut was planned to become a fishermen village, however, it had emerged as one of the major tourist areas on Samui. Bophut offers a great stack of tourist amenities while remaining a serene area perfect for those who value relaxation.
1. Distance to the airport.
The trip to the airport will take about 20 minutes by taxi.
2. Distance to the beach.
Few steps away.
3. Протяженность пляжа.
Two kilometers
4. Beach and water condition.
Here you can find amazing azure sea water edging the white sand beach. The shoreline is not wide, but very clean and comfortable. Natural shadow is nearly absent, except the hotel areas. In most places, the beach facilities such as sunchairs, umbrellas, and parking are not free.
5. District infrastructure.
This is the second most developed area on Samui along with Chaweng. However, the local prices can "bite". Especially cafes and restaurants but as we mentioned earlier the quality of service is high to proof the price. Every Friday there is a Walking Street along the beach road, with the life musci all sort of the street food. Here you can find all the major shopping malls such as: Big C, Makro, Tesco Lotus. Massgae parlors and spa can be found nearly everywhere.
6. Transportation.
Beach is located not too far from the center, though it's not a big deal to find a public transport in this area. However, a lot of tourists prefer to travel by foot, since Bophut is quite a picturesque place.
7. Views.
Amazing sea views from almost any point are guaranteed.
8. Popular sightseeings.
This area is filled with expensive restaurants, boutiques, and bars. Extreme lovers can visit local karting center.
9. Nightlife.
The nightlife is not as vibrant as in Chaweng, however, there are still lot of night bars and pubs in this area.
