East Pattaya



East Pattaya is an ideal place if you are looking for a budget property, both for rent and for sale. This district is cheaper due to the distance to the beach. In case you are looking to stay here be ready to get the vehicle. There's nearly no public transportation in this area. Shopping fans won't find anything fancy for themselves here. However the district itself is very popular; considering a major part of the local property here are cottages and villas, you have an option to rent a good house with a swimming pool for a reasonable price. All these details make this district make it quite specific, especially if you are looking for the holiday property. Overall this is the most quite district in the town, as in any other suburb areas.



1. Distance to the airport.

Distance to the Suvarnabhumi airport will take around one and a half or two hours, however, it is best to arrange the transportation in advance, or reach the destination point from the town.

2. Distance to the beach.

The average distance to the beach is 7 km. It is not the most satisfying experience to walk this distance by foot, so getting your own vehicle would be necessary. However, most of the people living here prefer pool leisure instead of the beach activities.              

3. Facilities and amenities.

East Pattaya infrastructure is quite developed, probably not to the tourist demand, but long-term residents will find anything they need. Here you can find a lot of shops, both grocery stores, and malls, cafes, restaurants, pubs, markets.

6. Transportation.

As we have mentioned earlier, there is pretty much no public transport in this area. You can find a taxi, which will be expensive to use on a daily basis. Therefore having your own vehicle is rather a mandatory if you are looking to stay in this area.

7.  Views.

Since most of the property represented in this area are cottages and villas, the view will be limited to your own garden and pool. However, in some areas, two-story houses can offer nice city views.

8. Popular sightseeing.

Probably the major one is the monkey mountain Khao Sam Muk, where you can make photos with animals and feed them. Another one is the orchid garden.

9. Nightlife.

East Pattaya is a quiet district, however, you can still find lot of bars and pubs here, located mainly in soi Khao Talo and soi Khao Noi areas.

10. Popular hotels.

Despite East Pattaya is rather a suburban area there are lot of hotels in this area. The most popular are Chateau Dale Boutique Resort Spa Villas, Eastern Grand Palace, Dao Cafe. Most of the hotels here are rated as 3-starts.
