East Pattaya is an ideal place if you are looking for a budget property, both for rent and for sale. This district is cheaper due to the distance to the beach. In case you are looking to stay here be ready to get the vehicle. There's nearly no public transportation in this area. Shopping fans won't find anything fancy for themselves here. However the district itself is very popular; considering a major part of the local property here are cottages and villas, you have an option to rent a good house with a swimming pool for a reasonable price. Distance to the Suvarnabhumi airport will take around one and a half or two hours, however, it is best to arrange the transportation in advance, or reach the destination point from the town.

The average distance to the beach is 7 km. It is not the most satisfying experience to walk this distance by foot, so getting your own vehicle would be necessary. However, most of the people living here prefer pool leisure instead of the beach activities.
