Koh Samui, Lipa Noi

Although they might be not the best option for the permanent residency, due to the cost of living, certain lack of activities and distance to the mainland they are still number one if you are looking for the heavenly holiday amidst a tropical paradise, stretching white sand beaches and crystal clear sea water. A perfect location for your Instagram photo sessions, wedding party or beach leisure with the family.

Lipa Noi beach and district are located in the western part of Koh Samui. It's a big and tranquil location, for those "tired" of big cities vibes.

Distance from Lipa Noi beach to the airport — 40 km.

Basically, you are few steps away from the beach.

3. Beach length.

The beach length is 5,7 km.

4. Beach and water condition.

The beach is miraculous: a wide strip of the sand beach, edging the clear sea, not too deep, which makes it perfect for kids to swim. 



5. District infrastructure.

The overall district's infrastructure is not really developed: there are few restaurants and cafe along the beach, as well as in the hotels' area. Here you can also find seafood market. 

6. Transportation.

If you plan to stay in this area it would be viable to get your own wheels. A couple of baht buses passing by this area daily won't change the whole situation with public transport, so get ready to rent a motorbike or car.

8. Popular sightseeings.

Here you can find a beach club where you can purchase sea tours, beautiful Wat Samut Tharam temple, Surya Muni Spiritual Healing Center spa, Orion Retreat yoga centre and  Dusit Dhewa historical museum.
