Phuket Town & Central, Patong beach

Central Phuket district is known as the best part of this beautiful tropical resort. Developed infrastructure, lot of amenities and facilities, various residential options - all these boost Patong development. Here you can find the beach of the same name, which some call the best one on the entire island.

Distance to the beach might vary from a few steps to 10 minutes, depending on where you are going to stay.

4. Beach and water condition.

Patong is nice sandy beach with lot of tourist facilities and natural shade from the trees. Nearby you can find bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The water condition, however, can be quite disappointing for the picky tourists. Here you won't find the coral water like in Samui. Beach is leisure point here rather than swimming point.

5. District infrastructure.

Patong is probably the most developed part of the island. Most of the facilities are oriented on the young tourists, so you'll find bars and clubs anywhere here. There are lot of restaurants and cafes worth of visiting as well.



6. Transportation.

Public transportation is the strong point of Patong, however, taxi is still the most popular way to get from one point to another.

There are both sea and city views available, depending on where you stay in this area.
