South Pattaya



South Pattaya is located right between Pratumnak hill and downtown. This is quite busy part of the town, where you won't find too many tourist attractions, except soi Buakhaow street, which is another big destination for the nightlife tourists, besides Walking Street and Soi 6.



1. Distance to the airport.

The distance to the airport is the same as for the Pratumank or Jomtien. You can take a shuttle bus to the Suvarnabhumi airport on Thapraya road, or simply take a taxi. 

2. Distance to the sea.

The central beach is within 5-10 minutes walk from the South Pattaya road. However, it's probably not the best place for the beach leisure. We do recommend to visit Koh Larn island if you are looking for the pleasant beach leisure experience. You can find a ferry to this island on Bali Hai pier, which is 5-15 minutes away from the South Pattaya road. 

3. District infrastructure.

South Pattaya featured a very developed infrastructure as it should be in the central district. Here you can find plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and malls. The famous TukCom electronic ware shop is located exactly here, just along the South Pattaya road. You can also find big cosmetics shop "Pattaya Beauty" just next door after TukCom.



6. Transportation.

Lot of baht buses, motorbike taxis and taxis. 

7.  Views.

Since there are not too many highrise condos, mostly you can find city views or very limited sea views from your balcony.

8. Popular objects and nightlife.

Basically, all the popular objects are limited to the Walking Street and soi Buakhaow, which are too big destinations for the nightlife tourists.
